Spritz cookies

These cookies are soft and tender, can be made with cookie press or pastry bag and great treats for kids.

Ingredients

• 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 2 egg yolks
• 1 tsp vanilla extract.

Directions


Sift together flour and salt. Cream butter and sugar until creamy . Add egg yolks and vanilla. Stir in the flour, beat well. Chill for about 10 minutes. Put dough through cookie press onto an ungreased cookie sheet.The dough should be pliable. Bake about 10 minutes in a 350 degrees F oven.
