Ingredients
1 cup Uzhunnu parippu / Urad dal
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sesame seed oil
oil for frying

Directions
Grind the urad daal into a fine powder.
To this add salt baking powder sesame seed oil and water, mix with hands, make into a hard still pliable dough. Roll the dough into about one inch sized rod, roll each piece into to flat rounds. Keep the pappadam on a flat surface or paper to dry for at least 20 minutes. deep fry in hot oil and Enjoy.
