Stir fried Papaya
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw papaya ,grated
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- salt, as needed
- 1/2 onion .thinly sliced
- curry leaves. few
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- grated coconut or dessicated coconut ,to garnish
- 1 tbs vegetable oil
Directions
Combine grated papaya with turmeric,chilli powder,curry leaves,onions and salt.Heat oil in a pan, Splutter
cumin seeds and mustard seeds. To this add papaya mixture. Saute in low flame for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the papaya mixture turns little crisp.Remove from flame , garnish with coconut. serve as a side dish with rice.
