Red Spinach Stir Fry / Red Cheera Thoran
Ingredients
- Red spinach, a bunch
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- salt, as needed
- 2 to 4 garlics, crushed lightly
- 1/2 cup grated coconuts
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- curry leaves, few
- 2 green chillies
- 2 tsp coconut oil
Directions
Wash the spinach in water couple of times. Cut into thin strips. Mix well with other ingredients. Heat oil in a pan or iron skillet, splutter mustard seeds. Add the spinach mixture, cook covered on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with rice.
