Black Bean patties / Black Bean Fritters
Today's recipe is something i came up with all of a sudden to finish leftover cooked beans.These are quick and easy which will make healthy and filling sandwich patties.Stay tuned for more black bean recipes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked black beans
- 2 to 3 garlics, minced
- 1 to 2 green chillies
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped onions
- salt, as needed
- 1/4 cup rice powder or as needed
- coriander leaves, few
- 1 large egg white
- 2 cups bread crumbs
Directions
Mix black beans, garlics, green chillies and onions in a food processor or in a blender without adding water. Add coriander leaves , salt and rice powder. Mix well and shape the mixture into round balls or patties, dip each patties first in egg white then roll in bread crumbs. Make sure patties are well coated with egg white and bread crumbs. Deep fry till golden brown. Serve hot with ketchup or as sandwich patties.
