Smoked Paprika Potato Chips / Super Bowl Sunday Recipes
Make your game day more enjoyable with these healthy baked potato chips with a kick of smoked paprika.
Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes, unpeeled
- 1tbs olive oil
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F, spray 2 baking sheets with cooking spray. Slice the potatoes into very thin
rounds (recommends mandolin slicer for this, i used sharp knife.) Rinse the potatoes under cold water, dry them really well using paper towels. In a large bowl combine oil, paprika and salt, add the potatoes and toss well to coat evenly. Spread the potatoes onto the prepared baking tray , bake until potatoes are crisp for about 12 to 22 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on the thickness in slices, so check every 5 minutes. Once cool store in a paper bag for up to 2 to 3 days.

ReplyDeleteHi Vrinda,
ReplyDeleteI am back to your blog after a long time. A nice appearance with the new theme.
The chips appear even better than the ones we get in the stores. The recipe does not appear hard, so I will try this at home. Since I am alone this weekend, it wont be a problem if the experiment ends in a disaster ;)
Regards,
Abhilash
