Yellow cupcakes / Yellow Butter Cupcakes


Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  •  1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  •  1/2 cup  milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
 Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt., set aside. Cream butter
and sugar until soft and creamy. Add egg yolks  one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Scrap down the sides of the wall. Add the vanilla extract  and beat until combined. With the mixer on low speed, alternately add the flour mixture and milk, starting and ending with flour. Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
