Kozhi Ada/Chicken Hot pockets Fried
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- salt ,as needed
- water, as needed
- 1 tbs ghee
For the chicken filling
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 tsp garlic, grated
- 2 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup onion ,chopped
- 2-3 green chillies, chopped
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbs coriander leaves, chopped
- salt, as needed
Directions
Make a semi hard dough with all purpose flour, salt, ghee and water, Keep aside. Shred the cooked chicken with fork or food processor and keep aside.Heat oil in a pan . Saute oninos, ginger, garlic and green chillies. To this add shredded chiken and saute again. Now add garam masala and coriander leaves, adjust salt and mix well. Set aside. Make small balls out of the dough Roll them out and stuff the chicken filling. Make into a half moon shape Seal the edges with a touch of water, make marks with fork on the edge and deep fry till slightly golden in color.
You can make sweet/veggie version with coconut and sugar filling and serve with tea.

the shape tells me" If I bite it will give me taste of Coconut, jaggery filling with cardamom flavor)
