Rich Chocolate Brownies With Melted Dark Chocolates
Ingredients
- 10 ozs. nestle tall house chocolate Baking Bar or any bittersweet chocolate bar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350º F. Grease 8-inch-square baking pan. Heat 8 ounces (2 bars broken into small pieces) sugar, butter and water in small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate and butter are melted. Pour into medium bowl. Once cooled, add beaten eggs. Stir in vanilla extract. Add flour and salt; stir well. Pour into prepared baking pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until wooden pick inserted in center comes out still slightly sticky. Cool in pan on wire rack. Melt reserved 2 ounces of chocolates and drizzle over brownie. Cut into bars.
